A Simple Iso Programmer

Below is a zip file that contains a schematic diagram in both .jpg and .gif formats. It uses a Max232, a 74HC04 oscillator chip and one gate of an SN7407 chip. I did this up because it is simple to build, can even be done on a small perf board, and just plain works. There are no frills and no added cost to the project. In the picture below, the programmer was simply incorporated into a simple, single Atmel loader and built on a standard Radio Shack perf. board. In this use, the power supply was made switchable to one or the other. It features all LM317 regulators for both devices and uses no LM7805. The loader design is the same one that is pictured on the HU Loader Info page at the bottom.

Below is a shot of the front of the combination programmer/loader. It is all point to point wired and works extremely well at Unlooping, loading, and the programmer works very well, also.

Below is the back of the board. Nothing fancy but it works very well.
